Staunton Whiteman have acquired the freehold of the Lidl foodstore and Fastned EV charging hub at St Hilary Retail Park, Basildon, on behalf of a family office.
The property comprises a modern, purpose-built foodstore of 19,453 sq ft, completed in 2023, together with 8 ultra-rapid EV chargers. The foodstore is let to Lidl Great Britain Ltd until 2043 without break, and the EV chargers are let to Fastned UK Ltd until 2048. Both leases have 5-yearly RPI-linked rent reviews.
The park is situated to the north of Basildon town centre, directly opposite Pipps Hill Retail Park. Together they form the town's dominant retail warehouse cluster.
